Why do conversations about money often feel awkward?
Especially in Christian contexts, conversations about money can become entangled with anxiety, scarcity and fear.
I wonder whether we might approach them differently.
A different vision of the good life
Jesus embraced an Eden/New Creation vision of God's overflowing abundance, generosity and care. He trusted that, in God's economy, there can be enough for all, and saw everyday transactions as opportunities to deepen practical wisdom, strengthen relationships, and embody God's generosity in our own giving and receiving.
So I'm curious about a relational approach to pricing and the value we might both receive through a potential collaboration.
What if conversations about price became opportunities for mutual blessing, deeper relationship, and an experience of shalom? What if they reflected a life-giving alternative to the common narratives of scarcity, hoarding and anxiety?
Let's talk
My pricing is informed by my circumstances as a solopreneur, my qualifications and experience, the value I believe I can bring, and relevant market guides.
But I also recognise that every organisation and relationship is different.
So the prices below are starting points for a conversation. Sometimes I discount; sometimes people choose to pay more. My hope is that we can find an arrangement that is fair to both parties and contributes to the flourishing of those we serve.
